Inhabits sandy areas of lagoon and seaward reefs (Ref. 1602); in sheltered rocky reef habitats in few meters depth, usually in small loose groups (Ref. 48636). Occurs in rubble and algal turfs (Ref. 90102) and tidepools (Ref. 111072). Feeds on small benthic invertebrates (Ref. 89972). |
