Country info:  Known from Madras, Godavari and Krishna drainages, Poona (Central India) and the Western Ghats (Ref. 4832). Found in Cauvery river, Tamil Nadu (Ref. 41236). Also Ref. 43640, 45255. Status of threat: Low risk in Western Ghats (Ref. 50614).
