Distribution:  Africa: middle Congo River basin. Sangha River in Republic of Congo (Ref. 53209) and Cameroon (Ref. 46901), and middle Congo River (Ref. 4910), lakes Mai Ndombe (Ref. 1877) and Tumba (Ref. 41580) and the Itimbiri River (Ref. 106290) in Democratic Republic of the Congo. Report from the marine lower Congo at Zambi in DRC (Ref. 41594) needs confirmation.
