Country info:  Known from Baram, Tatau, Rejang and Lupar River basins in Sarawak (Ref. 57871). Also found in the Rajang Basin in Sarawak, Borneo (Ref. 57780). Recorded from Danum valley. Rarest species of Gastromyzon in the Danum Valley Field Centre (Ref. 34011). Also Ref. 3310, 26580.
