Distribution:  Asia: Myanmar.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 7-7; Vertebrae: 27-27. Diagnosis: A small species of Garra with smoothly rounded snout tip, rostral lobe present, proboscis absent, predorsal region, chest and abdomen scaled, two pairs of barbels, lateral line scales 31, circumpeduncular scales 16.
Biology:  This species can be a potential aquarium fish (Fang, 2004, pers. comm.)

Country info:  Found only in two small streams on the western slope of the Rakhine Yoma, draining to the Bay of Bengal (Ref. 52314). Also Ref. 81819.
