Environment:  demersal; freshwater,
Distribution:  Africa: (upper) Zambezi River and Okavango system (Ref. 7248, 120641).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in rocky rapids of large rivers (Ref. 7248, 78218). Known to feed on fish (Ref. 7248). Adults feed on fish while juveniles probably feed on small invertebrates (Ref. 78218).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 01 March 2007 Ref. (130435)
