Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish
Distribution:  Asia: Thailand to Indonesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A euryhaline species (Ref. 12041). Occurs along the bottom in estuaries and in the lower courses of rivers. Feeds on benthic invertebrates. Large individuals are sold separately and small ones are marketed fresh in mixed catches (Ref. 12693).

Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Occurs in Ban Hang Khone, a village on an island in the middle of the mainstream Mekong River just below the Great Khone Waterfalls in Khong District, Champasak Province (Ref. 37767). Also Ref. 30857 (listed as Euryglossa cf. panoides).
