Family:  Synanceiidae (Stonefishes), subfamily: Minoinae
Max. size:  15 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 115 - 172 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: southern Japan to Taiwan (Ref. 559). Collected from the Philippines (Ref. 95664).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in the shelf edge on sandy mud bottom (Ref. 11230).
