Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: St Joseph, Seychelles (Ref. 10685); Chagos Islands, Ryukyu Islands, Enewetak (Marshalls), Rarotonga (Cook Islands), and the Pitcairn group.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 16-19; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 8-9. SL to 20 mm.
Biology:  Found on rocky shores (Ref. 559).
