Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: upper Ogowe basin in Gabon and Republic of Congo, and the Bouenza (Kouilou-Niari basin), upper Léfini and upper Djoué (Congo basin) in Republic of Congo (Ref. 47461).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in brooks and small streams in the rainforest and forested savanna of the inland plain (Ref. 3788).
