Max. size:  15.7 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Yunnan, China and Myanmar.
Diagnosis:  Predorsal scales 12; transverse scale rows 6/1/3. In fresh condition, almost entirely white or silvery, with fins nearly colorless; dorsal and caudal fin with a little lack pigment distally; middle of dorsal fin with black pigment on interradial membranes; caudal fin lobes without stripes (Ref. 35912).

Country info:  Known from Yunnan (Ref. 33250). Type locality: Nampoung [Nampung] R., Kakhyen Hills, near Bhamo, Irrawaddy basin, w. Yunnan border, China (Ref. 33021). Known from Mang city, Yingjiang county, Nabang, Tiantuan of Tengchong county in Yunnan Province(Ref.45620). Also Ref. 35840, 35912, 51717.
