Country info:  Recorded from Lake Khanka drainage area (Amur river basin) (Ref. 13397), Zhujiang River (= Pearl River) drainage of Guangdong Province, and Moyang Jiang River drainage (Ref. 33348). Introduced from its native range to other regions in the country for extensive stocking in all kinds of inland waters for culture and bio-control (Ref. 55380). Known from Nanning of Guangxi Province; Yueyang of Hunan Province; Wuli Lake in Jiangsu Province; Hubei Provicne (Dong Lake, Liangzi Lake, Macheng, Danjiang). Heilong Jiang River. Also known 4 specimens from Yingcheng of Yingde County in Beijiang River drainage(Ref.33783). Also Ref. 35840, 44416.
