Country info:  Known from the Yangtze river system in the lower reaches of the Jinshajiang River (below Shigu), and Mingjiang, Tuojiang, Jialingjiang, Quijiang and Wujiang rivers (Ref. 45259). Type locality: Howchwan, Szechwan (=Sichuan) Province, Yangtze River (Ref. 33021). Known from Sichuan Province (Luzhou, Tuojiang, Mudong)(Ref.33784). Also Ref. 31517, 35840.
