Family:  Callionymidae (Dragonets)
Max. size:  3.36 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Lake Tonle Sap, Cambodia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal soft rays: 7-7; Vertebrae: 20-20. Distinguished from all other members of the family Callionymidae, except Draculo mirabilis (=Eleutherochir mirabilis) by the absence of first dorsal fin. Differs from D. mirabilis by possessing 8 dorsal-fin rays vs. 12-14 rays, 7 anal-fin rays vs. 12-14, all anal-fin rays, except the last, unbranched vs. all rays branched), and the opercular membrane fused with the body vs. not fused (Ref. 56950).
Biology:  Inhabits lake with mud substrate (Ref. 56950).

Country info:  Found only in the northwestern part of Lake Tonle Sap (Ref. 56950); collected from a market at Phsar Krom, Siem Reap (Ref. 87929).
