Country info:  Known only from the lagoons inside of the Meso-Amercian Barrier Reef (Ref. 88930); including offshore atolls and islands (Ref. 9761), like Turneffe Atoll, South Water Cay Marine Reserve, Sapodilla Cays and Snake Cays. This was observed as a rare species in Belize (Ref. 128811). Also Ref. 12255.
