Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 10 - 40 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: southern Australia, from Western Australia to New South Wales.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults occur inshore (Ref. 75154). Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding (Ref. 205).
