Distribution:  Asia: Darjeeling and Assam in Eastern Himalayas, India, Nepal and Bhutan (Ref. 41236). Reported from Bangladesh (Ref. 1479).
Biology:  Inhabits streams with gravelly bottom (Ref. 41236).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 23 January 2010 Ref. (124695)
Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Known from Darjeeling and Assam in Eastern Himalayas (Ref. 41236), Meghalaya and Uttar Pradesh (Ref. 45255). Also Ref. 4832, 45255.
