Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic: Atlantic coast of Morocco and Portugal; Mediterranean Sea, Sea of Marmara and Bosporus Strait.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits shallow water between dense algal growth. Feeds on bottom invertebrates.

Threat to humans:  harmless
