Max. size:  20 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish
Distribution:  Asia: Thailand to Indonesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A euryhaline species (Ref. 12041). Occurs along the bottom in estuaries and in the lower courses of rivers. Feeds on benthic invertebrates. Large individuals are sold separately and small ones are marketed fresh in mixed catches (Ref. 12693).

Country info:  Known from the Chao Phraya basin (Ref. 12041); also from Tapi river (Surat Thani), Klong Ko Nang Loeng (Bangkok), Ko Yai, Bang Thorani (Nonthaburi), Samut Prakan and Bandon (Ref. 37773). Also Ref. 12693.
