Family:  Soleidae (Soles)
Max. size:  25 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 8 - 100 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Yellow Sea to Po Hai; also in the East China Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits sandy-mud bottoms. Found in sheltered bays and estuaries in shallow sand habitats. Usually seen only at night (Ref. 48637).
