Family:  Uranoscopidae (Stargazers)
Max. size:  27.5 cm TL (male/unsexed); max.weight: 425.5 g
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 7 - 64 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Japan to Taiwan.
Biology:  Found near shore, down to 120 m on sand or sandy mud bottoms (Ref. 11230).
