Distribution:  Asia: China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 5-5; Vertebrae: 37-37. Body elongated, head slightly compressed, snout slightly shorter than the postorbital part of head, eye large, mouth inferior, lips papillose. Barbels 6, maxillary ones longest. Caudal emarginate, lateral line complete, body naked without any scales.
