Max. size:  8.3 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Kwango River (Kasai drainage, middle Congo River basin) in Angola (Ref. 11970).
Diagnosis:  Description: moderately deep-bodied; frontal profile straight to slightly concave; caudal fin rounded to subtruncate (Ref. 52307) Coloration: body grayish-brown to gray (Ref. 52307).
Biology:  This species practices buccal incubation (Ref. 11970).
