Distribution:  Asia: Lesser Sunda Islands, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-11; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 10-11. Scales in horizontal series 47 to 51, usually 48 to 50; opercles may or may not be scaled; pectoral base usually naked; scales in predorsal midline 11 to 19, usually 16.
