Max. size:  5.83 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Amojiang River, Sinanjiang River and main channel of Lixianjiang River in Yunnan, China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal soft rays: 7-7. Dorsal fin with III,8 rays, without spine; anal fin with II,5 rays; pectoral fin XII-XIV, 12-15 rays; pelvic fin VII-IX, 11-13 rays (Ref. 82787).
Biology:  Usually coexists with Sinogastromyzon macrostoma (Ref. 82787).
