Max. size:  33 cm TL (male/unsexed); 34 cm TL (female)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 190 - 412 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Honduras and Nicaragua.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on the continental outer shelf and upper slope. Prefers fine white calcareous material as substrate. Feeds on small bony fishes and cephalopods. Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Not utilized at present.
