Distribution:  Asia: Irrawaddy basin.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Processus dentiformis present; 8-10 irregular bars on body; no suborbital flap in males; incomplete lateral line reaching about pelvic fin origin; 8-9+8 branched caudal rays; emarginate caudal fin; black basal caudal bar and axillary pelvic lobe present; anus immediately in front of anal fin (Ref. 39226).
