Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish; marine, anadromous
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Ariake Sea, coasts of the Korean Peninsula, Yellow Sea and southern part of the Sea of Japan.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-14; Anal soft rays: 26-31; Vertebrae: 72-76
Biology:  Used in Chinese medicine (Ref. 12166).
