Family:  Cottidae (Sculpins)
Max. size:  5.9 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 2 - 82 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Fillmore Island, southeastern Alaska to Arena Cove, northern California, USA.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 10-10; Dorsal soft rays (total): 15-16; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 11-12. Caudal fin bluntly rounded. Pelvic fins small.
Biology:  Inhabits intertidal and subtidal areas, on rocks or vertical rock faces (Ref. 2850).
