Metamorphosed females distinguished by the following characteristics: long ilicium 268.3% SL; fewer, relatively short median fin rays; dorsal fin rays 6, length of longest rays less than 65%SL; anal fin rays 5, length of longest rays less than 40%SL; upper jaw teeth 33; lower jaw teeth 31; teeth on vomer 4 (Ref. 86949). |
