Distribution:  Asia: Southeast Asia, Central Viet Nam.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7. Diagnosis: Color pattern consists of strongly contrasting brown and yellow/cream vertical bands on the body. Snout slightly bulbous. Adipose-fin base short 14.7-19.9% HL. Pectoral-fin spine 15.4-18.3%SL. Maxillary barbel not reaching beyond opercle. Caudal fin with one brown band (Ref. 56216).
