Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: India and Nepal. Reported from Bangladesh (Ref. 1479).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits pool and run areas of swift streams (Ref. 12045). Found in mountain rapids (Ref. 41236).
