Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Western Ghats, Kerala and Maharashtra in India.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in freshwater and tidal rivers (Ref. 41236). Feed on the surface and water column; mainly on surface dwelling insects (Ref. 43629). Oviparous, eggs are unguarded (Ref. 205).
