Max. size:  5.79 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Mekong basin.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  The only known cave fish in the genus Poropuntius. Apart from reduction of eyes and pigmentation, this species has not deviated greatly from riverine surface-dwelling species of the genus (Ref. 35912).
