Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range - 40 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: southern Australia, from southern Western Australia to New South Wales, including Tasmania.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rocky reef-algal habitats and occurs to as deep as 40 m (Ref. 26203).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 12 June 2008 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
