Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 18-19; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 27-28. Petrocephalus congicus differs from P. haullevillii by a rosette of electroreceptor organs above the eye, which is absent in P. haullevillii (Ref. 91771). |
