Max. size:  12.06 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 1 - 24 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: northern Australia. The southernmost record on the east coast, Moreton Bay near Brisbane, which was reported as Pempheris klunzingeri was a misidentification.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits coral reef (Ref. 75154).
