Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 1 - 10 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Kenya.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 6-6; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 37-41
Biology:  Collected from reef flat with dead coral and sand (Ref. 106074). Depth range (1-10 m) given by B. Victor (pers. comm. 10/18).

Threat to humans:  harmless
