Environment:  pelagic-neritic; marine; depth range 0 - 10 m
Distribution:  Westen Indian Ocean: Seychelles.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 6-6; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 38-41
Biology:  Usually seen in aggregations in the shelter of coral reefs, at times in less than 1 meter depth. Collected using rotenone and spear (Ref. 106074).
