Max. size:  27.9 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 300 - 405 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: off Queensland, Australia (Ref. 114953).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A demersal species found on continental slope. Lengths of smallest mature male 27 cm TL, smallest postnatal juvenile 8 cm TL. Life history unknown (Ref. 114953).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 20 February 2015 Ref. (123251)
Threat to humans:  harmless
