Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range - 1097 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Bay of Campeche, Gulf of Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on the continental slope. Maximum length is of immature holotype. Oviparous (Ref. 50449).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 20 June 2019 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
