Family:  Aplocheilidae (Killifishes)
Max. size:  10 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish; pH range: 6 - 8; dH range: 5 - 19, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: endemic of Seychelles.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in small fresh and brackish water streams. 10 cm max TL (Ref. 3788). Also inhabit ponds. Feeds on worms, crustaceans, insects and fish (Ref. 7020). Not a seasonal killifish. Is easy to maintain in the aquarium (Ref. 27139).
