Distribution:  Africa: endemic to the Malagarasi River basin (Ref. 26959, 54847, 92865).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rivers; found in both the main river bed as in the smaller affluents of the Malagarasi (Ref. 26959).
