Distribution:  Indian Ocean: Southeastern sector, Broken Ridge.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Demersal, possibly on hard bottoms (Ref. 114953). Described from a single juvenile male, 41.5 cm TL (Ref. 75642).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 20 June 2017 Ref. (123251)
Threat to humans:  harmless
