Family:  Artedidraconidae (Barbled plunderfishes)
Max. size:  10 cm TL (male/unsexed); 11.8 cm TL (female)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 230 - 608 m
Distribution:  Southern Ocean: Antarctic Peninsula and East Antarctica (Ross Sea, Queen Maud Land, Graham Land, South Victoria Land).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on the sublittoral and continental shelf. Feeds mainly on errant polychaetes and gammaridean amphipods. Takes substantial amounts of isopods.
