Family:  Myliobatidae (Eagle and manta rays)
Max. size:  95 cm WD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range - 50 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: known from the Gulf of California to Sechura, Peru.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A little known coastal species, caught mainly over sandy bottoms. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 50449).
IUCN Red List Status: Vulnerable (VU); Date assessed: 08 February 2019 (A2d) Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
