Max. size:  30 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Mexico and the Revillagigedo Islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Oviparous, eggs are pelagic and non-adhesive (Ref. 205). More data needed. Probably caught incidentally together with other mullets.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 29 April 2008 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
