Family:  Procatopodidae (African lampeyes), subfamily: Procatopodinae
Max. size:  2.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: small rivers and brooks in the forested central and coastal area of Togo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Ill-defined species (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).

Threat to humans:  harmless
