Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 1000 - 1100 m
Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic: off the Cape in South Africa (Ref. 6610). Southwest Pacific: Australia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 91-95; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 69-77
Biology:  A benthic species found on the continental slope (Ref. 75154). Rare species (Ref. 34024). Taken in a bottom trawl (Ref. 34024).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 16 August 2019 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
