Diagnosis: |
Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-12; Anal soft rays: 18-21; Vertebrae: 38-40. With numerous iridescent green spots on central stripe when live; absence of black irregular pattern on area below preorbital to central stripe; area just above anal-fin base without 3-4 dark brown semi-circles, which appear circular when body is viewed ventrally; brownish caudal fin with 3-7 narrow iridescent vertical gold bars; and absence of markings on anal and pelvic fins (Ref. 56386). |
